Throttle By Wire (TBW) throttle has been added for maximum control and performance as power increases. Each Riding Mode corresponds to a certain HSTC traction control setting, resulting in exciting combinations that make you want to drive longer, further, stronger. test….

Riding Mode: Rain
Benefits from smoother power delivery, an intermediate level of engine brake (EB) and a high level of HSTC traction control. The lowest levels of power and torque are focused on the first 3 gears, where you need them most in the wet.

Riding Mode: Standard
Use the intermediate setting for all three parameters, power, motor brake and HSTC traction control. It softens the first and second gear delivery a bit, offering a slightly lower initial thrust than in Sport mode. In addition, torque delivery is reduced by partial throttle openings to keep the bike controllable and stable by increasing and decreasing power. During acceleration it allows slight slippage of the rear wheel and also keeps the front wheel firmly on the ground.

User
Allows the pilot to select all parameters and thus create a custom mix of the three settings, which can be recalled at any time.

The Art of Alloying
Radiator, engine casing and airbox cover in burnished alloy add a touch of roughness to this new category of road machines.

Full front lighting

All CB1000R lights are LED. The first thing you’ll notice is the slim round headlamp with its metal-coated frame. It’s a distinctive feature with a special horseshoe shaped light ring and a two-stage light that attracts attention.

Braking power

The radially-mounted dual-mount front disc brakes feature 4-piston calipers and, together with ABS, offer incredible braking power and feel when you need it, in all driving conditions.

Sound Oriented Design

A 4-2-1 exhaust system wraps around the new engine tightly; above 5500 rpm it makes a rough and intense sound, you’ll hear the roar of the CB1000R before you see it.
